Small Business Spotlight: Naturallee Goode Haircare
I was born with a lot of hair. Having thick lengthy hair has never really been a problem for me, until something strange happened in my late 20’s.
With stress, a drastic diet change, and many other debilitating factors, I noticed my hair began to shed something awful.
I tried every mainstream haircare product available until I was exhausted. I decided wearing a bun on the weekdays would be an excellent solution, but not so much.
My hair continued to shed in large clumps even, with low weekly manipulation.
At a local event late last year, I bumped into a very kind woman named Mia Miller who so happened to be selling a natural haircare product called Naturallee Goode’s Goode Butter.
I was intrigued when she slathered a sample of a thick butter onto my hands. As I rubbed the golden concoction into my hands, I was amazed.
The product smelled so gorgeous and made my skin look so shiny and feel so soft, that I knew this might be the solution to my hair woes.
What was most appealing is that the product is handmade and all natural. Naturallee Goode doesn’t contain damaging mineral oils and other harsh chemicals found in the haircare products on the shelves of big box stores.
Once home, I immediately placed the product onto my freshly washed hair and it was like paradise!
The smell was clean and sweet, and the butter responded impeccably to the heat of my hands- turning into a beautiful almost liquid gold cocktail.
I often utilize the L.O.C Method (liquid, oil, and cream) on my thirsty mane and I realized this product surprisingly replaced the need for a moisturizing cream and oil.
Appling the Naturallee Goode, Goode Butter to slightly damp hair made for lush, juicy strands when my hair naturally dried.
Not only did my hair love Nauturalle Goode, my dry winter skin ate the product up with a silver spoon and then asked for more!
Over the weeks, my hair made drastic improvement, returning to much of its former glory. My skin also improved.
When I reached the end of the beautiful purple jar of Goode Butter, I was crushed.
I had to find Mia Miller again and let her know I was now a customer of Naturallee Goode for the foreseeable future.
About Nautallee Goode
Nautallee Goode’s story started when creator, Mia Miller, noticed a balding spot on her own scalp.
She resulted to stopping relaxers, cutting her mane super short, and even trying the popular hair loss product Rogaine.
Nothing worked for Miller until she utilized a natural hair recipe passed down to her by her grandmother who had long healthy hair.
The product was so successful for Miller, that after her grandmother passed away she decided to sell her hair secret to other women so that they too could enjoy thriving hair.
As an ode to her beloved grandmother, Miller named the product after her – Lee is Mia’s grandmother’s middle name and Goode is her surname.
This all-natural product consists of natural ingredients like sweet almond oil and several essential oils that have many benefits for hair and scalp such as moisturization and increased circulation that prompts follicle growth.
Miller has recently expanded her line to include the Goode Butter (my favorite!) and a new scalp oil that looks amazing. She hopes to expand her hairline to a natural conditioner, curl definer, and shampoo by the end of this year.
